Who pays for referral rewards?
Your business funds its referral rewards and the friends' discounts, at the amounts you choose. Vouch's monthly subscription is separate, and so is the monthly prize draw, which Vouch pays for.
When does someone earn their reward?
After the referred job meets your published conditions, such as your minimum job value, and you confirm in Vouch that it's completed and paid. The gift card then waits in your dashboard for you to send.
Can I change the reward?
Yes, at any time in your settings. The change applies to new referrals. Friends who have already enquired keep the offer they were given.
Do customers need an app?
No. Their page and their link work in any browser. They can save their referral card to their phone's Wallet where it's supported, but they don't have to. To check their referrals later, they sign in with their email address and a code we send them.
Can you contact my past customers?
Yes. During setup, send us a list of customers you've worked for. We ask each one how their job went, and everyone who tells us is entered into the monthly prize draw. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
Every customer is asked the same way, and any answer counts, good or bad.
Will this get me higher on Google?
Fresh reviews, a new page for every project and a page for each service and town all help search engines see what you do and where. Every customer is offered a Google review too.
Nobody can promise rankings, so we don't. We do show you every review and enquiry that comes in.
Do I need to change how I book jobs?
No. Keep using your current booking and scheduling. During setup we agree how enquiries and job updates will be handled, and you mark each job's progress in Vouch with one tap.
How does the prize draw work with reviews?
Customers earn an entry by publishing a testimonial of how their job went, whatever they say, and a second by adding your card to their phone. Testimonials that earned an entry are labelled on your site, as UK consumer law requires. Google reviews are never part of it: Google doesn't allow rewards for its reviews.
Who owns the website?
You do. The website we build for you is yours to keep, whichever plan you're on and whenever you leave. Your domain, photos, reviews and customer list are yours too.
If you leave, we hand the website over to you. What stops is the Vouch service behind it: review requests, referral cards and tracking, Quick Quotes and your dashboard.
Is there a contract? How do I cancel?
The monthly plan has a minimum term of 6 months. After that it rolls month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice by email.
The founding year is paid upfront for 12 months from the day you go live. After that it moves to the monthly plan unless you tell us otherwise.
What do you need from me?
Your existing website if you have one, your branding, your services and the areas you cover, your team, 10 to 20 photos of past jobs, your Google Business Profile and access to your domain.
You're live within 48 hours of us having all of it.
What about data protection?
Your customers' data belongs to you. We process it on your behalf under UK GDPR, as set out in the client agreement.
Photos lose their location data when they're uploaded, customers appear as first name and town only, and nothing goes on your site without the customer's permission.
What happens when the founding places are gone?
The founding-year price closes. Join the waiting list and we'll tell you first if a place opens, or book a demo to talk about the monthly plan.
